Seriously one of my favourite vocalists of all time. Of all time!! I never cared too much for his earlier singer-songwriter work though it was really quite apparent that the boy has some properly impressive pipes. I’ve heard that a lot of his earlier fans aren’t all that keen on his current screamsinging blue-eyed soul/reggae/what-have-you incarnation, but I have to say that the full brass sections and overblown instrumentation thing he’s got going on right now is totally my kind of thing.
He’s just a couple of years older than I am. What am I doing with my life?
