It feels like a Franz Ferdinand song without Alex’s lead vocals and the distinctive riffs. Which, of course, it is. At some point in my life I might have been put off by the corporate endorsement thing. Must be getting old.
By the way, I saw Marion Cotillard on the Late Late Show the other day. She’s just lovely. And, er, her English has improved drastically. I say that because the last time she was on she mispronounced ‘focus’ to drastic effect.
